Phlox subulata Zwergenteppich

Masses of deep pink flowers with red eye over compact mounds of leaves in late spring. Growing tips. Alpine phlox are easy and colourful, to keep them in good shape feed with tomato fertiliser occasionally in Summer, and to keep them neat and healthy prune well in August. New growth will appear again in early spring. They are long lived and do benefit from pruning.
