A relatively new introduction of a particularly unusual but attractive hardy perennial. A chance seedling found by Lynne Edwards in her garden and named after her father Joseph Green. (ref: Group newsletter of the hardy geranium society Spring 2017 for more information of its provenance). Fully double purple/blue sterile flowers with what appear to be malformed stigmas in chartreuse green interspersed, and most prominent as the flowers open.
