A cormous perennial flowering from mid-late summer with exquisite flowers in shades of pastel blue and central markings in shades of deeper blue. Requiring a perfectly drained spot in a sunny scree or rock garden preferably well sheltered. A safer option is to build up stock in an alpine pan or terracotta pot in a cold greenhouse. Protect from penetrating frost and keep dry or just slightly moist through Winter dormancy.
