A relatively new introduction rom Japan. An evergreen sedge for full sun in a very sheltered position. In colder regions it is best grown in a container and brought into glasshouse for winter protection, the irony is of course that it is permanently encrusted in what appears to be frost! The flowers are nothing special, grown for foliage attraction.
