Ferraria crispa

Exotic ruffled flowers have deep purple spots across white petals and highlighted with orange anthers.This most unusual three dimensional flowers are fascinating and are like something from a coral reef. Half hardy perennial/bulb can be in a frost free shelter position or in a deep pot or pan in a greenhouse or alpine house where it will flourish well in humus rich but very free draining compost.
