Digitalis parviflora

A personal favourite, worthy of any sized garden, this small foxglove has rich orange-brown flowers, densely packed, along robust stems. It forms a rosette of glossy dark green leaves and although exotic looking, it is very easy to grow. It prefers a sunny position but will grow in semi-shade, in a moist humus-rich well-drained soil. Flowers May - July.
