A magnificent bulbous perennial for a sunny position in all soil types, but having good drainage. Strong stems support umbels of fire coloured pendulous trumpets. Needs a well drained sunny site, if risk of penetrating frost then plant deeper than normal by approx 5cm and mulch well to overwinter. Perfect as an easy attractive container plant.
